Hard to believe Tyler is SIX years old! Wowza. We had a small friends birthday party at our house several weeks ago, and he made the welcome sign on his own:) Translation: "Thank You for coming to my birthday!" Love this stage of the reading/writing process!
We played some superhero bingo . . .

. . . and somehow the villain Mr. Freeze had frozen some Lego super heroes in ice, so of course we had to recuse them:)
They loved this -- Mr. Freeze should have frozen 15 figures instead of just 2!
A superhero hunt -- Kayla and Joshua were a really big help on this day. It was fun to see them involved!
Opening gifts -- it's always so cute to see everyone huddle around!

Since his birthday fell over Spring Break, we actually had his friends party several weeks early so there weren't as many conflicts, and had his family party when Grandma and Grandpa Nelson were visiting from WI!

He still loves his Superman "pillow" -- so precious:) Happy 6th Birthday bud! We love you!
