Last post from PA

I wanted to make sure I got a picture of Kayla's "bald spot" before it grows back -- too cute!

OK . . last night was VERY emotional. We went over to some friend's house for dinner and then took a walk down to the park to feed the ducks -- yep . . . we had TWO double strollers! Fun times! We'll miss them tremendously!

It's been forever. . .

Sorry folks . . .it's been a bit crazy lately! We are packing the moving truck one week from yesterday -- so blogging hasn't exactly been the first priority lately. However . . . these are some of the latest pics. We just started putting Kayla in her Exersaucer -- she does pretty well if the blanket is wrapped around her middle!

We FINALLY got a taste of Spring last week -- until we got 9 more inches of snow later in the week. Anyway, we tried to take advantage of the warmer weather by taking the RC plane out. Joshua was right ready to "help" daddy clean it off after flying!

Kayla rolled over last week for the first time -- back to front. Since she still doesn't like tummy time, we haven't seen the front to back roll yet.

I know . . .you're all jealous of her 'fro!

Watching the mighty Kansas Jayhawks play in style! This was all Joshua's idea. I know -- it's generally more effective if the diaper is off . . . !

Happy 4-Months Kayla!

Yep . . . she's got quite the fro, eh?

A rare Mommy and daughter photo

Today, Hyla drove up from DC for a "last visit" before we move. It seems like a long time ago that we were going to grad school together at Temple . . . where has the time gone?

Aunt Bem and Kayla

Brian surprised Mom (everyone else know) and came home to see us and to be there for Grandma's 90th birthday party. It was so good to see him! Not sure what he was teaching Joshua . . .!

Ah . . . finally down for a nap!

Reading Joshua a book . . . I'm sure this probably lasted a total of 30 seconds!

This was the first time Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Smiley got to see Kayla. We only had a few hours there -- but it was nice!

Joshua took full advantage of Great Grandpa feeding him ice cream!

In the Harrisburg airport before we left . . . little did we know the day would include a 1-hour delay out of Harrisburg, a 2-hour delay in Detroit, and a smoke-filled airplane when we touched down in Kansas City!
