Happy Birthday Kayla, cont'd

Kayla has had quite the "extended" b-day celebration because of Bryan's travel schedule! Last weekend we celebrated her "family" birthday after church. For whatever reason, she felt it necessary to change into (summer) clothes as soon as we got home . . .:)

Happy 5th birthday!

Trying out the apron and chef hat from Aunt Carly and Uncle Brian -- it seemed to do the trick!

Today she celebrated her birthday at preschool since it was our helper day.

Glad the preschool teacher was making sure she didn't catch her hair on fire . . .:)

The watch -- that was her selection from the much-awaited birthday box!

One of the "helper" responsibilities is marking off the calendar -- it's a BIG deal, you know!

Our lucky two-for-one deal at Pizza Hut last night

Ten minutes after starting in on our pizza, Pizza Hut came by our
table with another full pizza and a personal pan pizza. They had
accidentally put our order in twice. We had lots of pizza!

Happy 5th Birthday Kayla!

We just got done celebrating Kayla's 5th Birthday -- her first "friends" party! We had a very, very pink party -- as you can see:) And I must admit, it was really fun decorating for it, too! Kayla has been waiting a LONG TIME to have a party of her own -- I guess that's the down side of having a an older sibling!

Don't have any pics, but we had PB&J (with pink bread, of course), carrots (with pink dip), pink yogurt, and chips. I think most of them were too excited to eat:) Then they glued some jewels on their pink trinket boxes.

Prelude to a Pink Birthday Party

Halloween recap

And here are our little Trick-or-Treaters! We ran out of camera battery so we didn't get many pics, but Tyler was SO CUTE!!!! He marched up to every house with the older two and without prompting would say "Tank-You!" For those who know Tyler and his . . . um . . . limited verbal skills, it was awesome!

I think the penguin was a little ticked at the cheerleader, and the giraffe was ready to get the show on the road!

Earlier in the day, we went to J's school to see the parade . . .his flippers were giving him problems, I'd say!

Today was Kayla's preschool Halloween party -- always so cute. They were doing a "spider song" here!
