Misc!

Kayla was two months old this past Wednesday. I think this was the only smile we got that day as it was a VERY traumatic day! Her little belly was really bothering her -- we're hoping that the Allementim (special formula) and Prilosec are going to help . . .

Joshua giving his artisitic talent a try . . .

Following this past Wednesday, Mom thought I was sounding like I was on the edge of desperation (I was) and she came out for the weekend -- what a lifesaver!

Who knew that "finger painting" could turn into "neck painting" so quickly??

Walk in January

This past weekend, we had record high temps -- I think we got up to 67 degrees! It was wonderful! So, mama decided it was time to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!!!! It was beautiful -- I think the Lord knew exactly what I needed! It was also Kayla's first stroller ride outside -- she was asleep in about 20 seconds!

Stop in Bremen

On our way back from WI, we stopped in Bremen to see my brother Steve, his wife Freya, and their 1-year old Max. It was quick, but we had a lot of fun. It was especially fun to see Joshua and Max tooling around together!

I gave up on getting a picture with both of them facing me . . .

Giving high fives

This looks like trouble!

Christmas in WI II

Joshua was "helping" us play Yahtzee -- what an adventure!

Grandpa Nelson and Kayla

Uh . . . long story, but the two brothers were fixated with a certain computer game . . . very funny!

During our week in WI, Kayla really started smiling!

Christmas in WI I

Well, we just got back from our trip to WI for Christmas. It was our first "road trip" with two kids -- and amazingly enough, they did great most of the way! Uncle Mark and Bryan provided Joshua with some entertainment, as can be seen above . . . yes . . . Joshua is in that blanket!

Precious moments!

Joshua got a very special present from G/G Nelson . . . a jar of pickels! Joshua LOVES pickels (just like his uncle Ryan), so this was very appropriate!
