Gage Park

Since it finally stopped raining . . . we went to the park today. Actually, we were going to go the the zoo, but it was closed in the morning, so we made other plans! Joshua loved the train -- surprise, surprise!

This was Kayla's first time out in the sun -- I think the hat is twice as big as her head is!

Joshua's infamous "smile!"

"high" . . ."sky"

What a doll!

Fun on a Saturday

This is what a good morning of garage salin' will get ya!

Kayla just giggles and giggles when Joshua "helps" the swing!

"Dadda . . .ie"
Translation . . . Daddy, I want to go fly the kite in the sky!
Saturdays just don't get much better than this!

Getting settled in KS

Unloading the truck in KS . . . yes it was raining :(. The church staff was a HUGE help in not only unloading, but getting things assembled, etc.

This is Kayla's 5-month picture. We moved in the day she turned 5 months.

We also just started solids with her. She's still not quite sure yet what to think of the whole spoon thing! I just wish her eyes were a little bigger!

Kayla's in a phase where she is constantly putting things over her head . . . blankets, burp cloths, rattles, you name it! After a few seconds, she figures out how to take them off -- such a goofy girl!

"I love sweet potatoes!"

Finally connected in KS!

OK . . . we FINALLY got the DSL going in KS . . . so I feel like a new woman! We had a GREAT crew in PA that helped us get everything loaded -- unfortunately, we didn't quite get done before dark! Thankfully, our neighbor had some 700 watt TV lights that greatly helped the process!

Every square inch of the truck was full!

We "rented" our house from the new owners for several days -- no furniture, no food, no ANYTHING-- so we allowed Joshua to "camp out" in our room -- he thought it was the greatest thing!

Our first home. We are so extremely grateful that it sold as quickly as it did. What a God-thing.

Joshua was absolutely infatuated with the "ellow" truck! Anytime we see a yellow truck on the road, he pretty much freaks out!
