Kayla's class invited all the moms on Friday to a "Tea for Two" -- and it was super fun!
They sang come cute songs and then served us tea, lemonade and cookies!
Can you tell she she had a tooth that was begging to come out? Jeepers!
Best part of this "card" -- the coupon vouchers in the back! The teacher gave specific instructions that they were to USED/REDEEMED -- we'll see if that happens!
Tyler had his first tee-ball game on Saturday morning . . .man, I forget how stinkin' cute 5 year old boys can be!
This is Tyler playing catcher. They were given instructions to be all the way against the backstop since they didn't have catcher gear -- except for a batting helmet. Well, Tyler has seen the catcher remove his helmet TONS of times from being at J's games . . . so he kept removing his helmet after the batter hit the ball . . . and the coach kept telling him to put his helmet back on. Kind of funny!
We got a pretty intense hail storm -- glad it was only nickel sized.
These ducks got confused and ended up in our yard -- we had to open the back gate
and assist them to get back to the water!
Joshua's has been given the task of mowing the lawn this summer with a
monetary award attached to the task . . . it's a lot of work, isn't it bud????
The kids have been BEGGING to go fishing and we just aren't home
many evenings right now. So, Sunday evening we gave it a whirl . . .
. . . and we were surprisingly successful!
We ended up catching THREE fish -- amazing!
And the best part -- there was a team at church that set up some "photo op" places -- and I strongly suggested that I would like to get some pics with the kids!
My oldest . . .
. . . and the youngest!
I am so blessed!
Just keeping it real!
I don't why this is upside down . . . but Kayla made me a bracelet . . .
. . . and Joshua offered to make dinner on Sunday night . . . cheese quesadillas it was!
From Bryan -- a necklace with all their names on it. What a great weekend!
