Tyler was so excited for his birthday -- I made a calendar last month so he could cross off each day. So cute:) It generally included wearing that particular day's cape:)
We started by getting to bring cupcakes to his preschool -- 20 Batman cupcakes ready to go!!!!!
We had a "Superhero Training Academy" for several of his friends -- it was fun to put together! All of our kids got roped into coloring pics of the villains beforehand --
...even Joshua was a good sport!
One thing they had to do was "Vaporize the Villians" -- with silly string:)

They also go to color their own capes . . . unfortunately Mr. Tyler got extremely upset that his yellow marker did not show up on the red cape. You know the song "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to?" Um yeah . . . we had that happening:)

On Sunday evening, the family came over to celebrate! We've gotten spoiled the last several years with Grandma and Grandpa Nelson from WI coming during Tyler's birthday -- it's one big party!
