Swimming with Friends -- always a highlight of the summer. Joshua always delighted in being as loud as possible while jumping off the board!
Kayla and her friend having a playdate -- with having a neighborhood full of boys, Kayla doesn't have much "girl" time!
Well . . . this was the first picking of cucumbers and zucchini from our garden . . . not sure what I got myself into!
My first try at making dill pickles . . . I guess we'll tell in a few months if they turned out ok or not!
Fourth of July . . . I can't believe this is my only pic involving fire works. Let's just say that our oldest is destined to be a full-fledged PYRO. Seriously.
Our neighborhood had a Fourth of July bike parade . . . Kayla was all smiles now next to our neighbor boy . . . but mid-way through the parade route (with tons of kids behind her) she decided she wanted to ditch the parade . . . it was interesting!
Since we decided at the last minute to do this, our decorations were kept at a minimum!
The best for Tyler? Seeing a fire truck -- he is definitely into fire trucks/sirens right now!
Checking out the new Discovery Center in Topeka -- great place, just hard to keep track of 3 kids, different ages and interests :)
Enjoying the pool we "borrowed" from some friends for the summer -- it has been great!
The first round of homemade ice cream with the NEW ice cream maker -- glad to see Tyler was supervising the whole thing.
